About the position

Our PSWs will provide safe client centred care for people with medical conditions and/or functional limitations.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for your work
  • Proof of successful completion of accredited PSW program and valid First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED training
  • Proof of clear vulnerable sector check within the last 90 days plus annual renewals
  • Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation to take clients to/from appointments and errands as needed
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • At least 2 years of experience as a PSW
  • Experience providing in-home care such as assisting clients with activities of daily living, housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and other support per clients’ individual needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication with attentive execution of/reporting on care plans
  • Ability to accurately observe and report on client‘s behavioral, physical and/or cognitive changes
  • Reliability and timely submission of reporting after each shift
