Western Chapter
The Western Chapter of CANSWA supports Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) working in Long-Term Care, community, and hospital settings, while also advocating for Support Workers assisting individuals with complex needs and disabilities.

In some Western provinces, registries exist for CCAs and Support Workers, focusing mainly on employment tracking and credential verification. However, registries alone do not provide the support, protection, or career development that frontline workers need.

CANSWA membership fills that gap.
